Regular readers of Current Pension Topics know that I am a great fan of the Vanguard Wellington Fund. Do you know why? One of the Fund’s investment objectives is to maintain a ratio of holdings roughly equivalent to 33 percent in bonds to 67 percent in stock.
Example: On Jan. 1, 2020 Paul invested $100,000 in the Wellington Fund. He knows his account consists of about $33,000 in bonds and $67,000 in stock.
