When it comes to presidential politics and the left wing of the Democratic Party, love is a many-splintered thing. And so it wasn’t a huge surprise that when the national Working Families Party announced its endorsement of Elizabeth Warren Sept. 16, some supporters of Bernie Sanders took a page from the nation’s First Tweeter and declared the fix was in.
Top editors of the socialist magazine Jacobin published an article the following day headlined, “The Working Families Party Has Written Itself Out of History.”
