Under legislation passed by the City Council Dec. 19, the de Blasio administration will be required to compile extensive amounts of information on municipal workplace injuries and occupational diseases and track those injuries and diseases by civil-service titles.
It will also require the Mayor’s Office to report annually on its efforts to coordinate with agencies on developing programs to reduce and prevent workplace hazards.
