City Teachers will be evaluated on more than student test scores starting in January.
The new evaluation agreement between the Department of Education, the United Federation of Teachers and the Council of School Supervisors and Administrators was announced Dec. 21 and combines the two current categories, Measures of Student Learning and Measures of Teacher/Leadership Practice, and produces a final rating using a publicly available chart.
