A black militant convicted along with two other men of luring two NYPD Police Officers to a West Harlem housing project and then assassinating them nearly 50 years ago has been granted parole, a decision denounced by the Police Benevolent Association and one policeman’s widow.
Anthony Bottom, also known as Jalil Abdul Muntaqim, was granted release by the State Parole Board following his Sept. 11 appearance.
