A Bronx Supreme Court Justice Sept. 10 sentenced Abel Cedeno, who two years ago fatally stabbed 15-year-old classmate Matthew McCree at the now-closed Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation, to 14 years in prison.
State Supreme Court Justice Michael A. Gross sentenced the 20-year-old to 14 years in prison for manslaughter, eight years for first-degree assault and 90 days in jail for fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, which will run concurrently. His prison sentence will be followed by five years post-release supervision.
