President Trump, who warned in 2016 that he was about to become the victim of a "rigged" election system, is once again playing that tune, this time by claiming that efforts to increase voting by mail because of the concerns of many people about going to their local polling places and contracting the coronavirus, June 23 claimed that mail ballots would lead to "the most corrupt election in the history of our country, and we cannot let this happen."
That's pretty strong stuff when you consider the documented evidence of Russian interference in the election four years ago, except that the President has contended that it either didn't happen or was done to benefit Hillary Clinton. (He also claimed she won the popular vote by 3 million only because of five million votes by undocumented immigrants.)
