A Correction Officer at Rikers Island pleaded guilty June 8 to having sex with a female inmate and agreed to accept a term of 10 years’ probation, Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark announced.
Jose Cosme, 37, of Manhattan pleaded guilty before Bronx Supreme Court Justice Ralph Fabrizio to a third-degree criminal sex act. He will be sentenced Aug. 3 and must register as a sex offender.
