The NYPD Detectives union is threatening legal action against people who put its members at risk of contracting the coronavirus.
The Detectives’ Endowment Association’s message, issued April 20, followed a number of incidents involving people in flagrant violation of social-distancing decrees and their subsequent refusal to disperse after commands from NYPD officers, including a number of Detectives.
