Crime Falls as City 'Pauses,' Despite Sick Leave Among Cops on Rise

It appears that even criminals are adhering to social-distancing decrees. 

After a significant uptick in major crime to begin the year, the last few weeks—when following the closing of schools and then restaurants, bars and other non-essential businesses began to impel city residents indoors—have seen a drastic drop in robberies, grand larcenies and even murders.
