A Rikers Island inmate has been indicted for attempted murder, assault and other charges for attacking a Department of Correction Officer in the jail, the office of Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark said.
Raphael Davlos, 29, was arraigned July 11 on several assault charges, including attempt aggravated assault on a Peace Officer, as well as strangulation and weapons counts, and other charges. Mr. Davlos is due back in court on October 2.
