Arva Rice, a longtime presence within city advocacy organizations and nonprofits, was named interim Chair of the Civilian Complaint Review Board by Mayor Adams.
Ms. Rice, the president and CEO of the New York Urban League, joined the CCRB last year. She succeeds the Rev. Frederick Davie, who stepped down from the NYPD’s watchdog agency Jan. 31.
