Police Commissioner James P. O’Neill promoted 186 uniformed officers and 35 civilians, including an Assistant Commissioner, at Police Headquarters ceremonies July 28.
Danielle M. Pemberton was designated Assistant Commissioner, Facilities. She began her career with the city Department of Buildings in 2006, then moved in 2012 to the Mayor’s Office of Operations, where she dealt with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. She later served as Executive Director and then Assistant Commissioner of DOB.
