A strike by some 1,400 workers at four Kellogg’s cereal plants could be a preface to dozens and possibly hundreds of work stoppages in the coming weeks, according to some commentators.
The Guardian earlier this month reported that a wave of labor unrest could hit such diverse workplaces as hospitals, universities, mines and Hollywood movie sets, with workers demanding better pay and safety conditions.
