Whereas a restriction against the filling of vacancies due to budgetary constraints has limited the number of Train Operators the New York City Transit Authority has been able to appoint, the duration of the existing list for the title, No. 8098, has been extended to Sept. 19, 2017. The 11,059-name list for Train Operator was first established on Sept. 19, 2012 and was held on June 6, 2009.
Readers should note that eligible lists change over their four-year life as candidates are added, removed, reinstated, or rescored. The list shown below is accurate as of the date of establishment but list standings can change as a result of appeals.
