Whereas a restriction against the filling of vacancies due to budgetary constraints has limited the number of Housing Assistants the New York City Housing Authority has been able to appoint, on Jan. 25, 2017, the duration of the existing list for this title, based on Exam No. 1017, was extended to February 1, 2018. The test was given in December 2010 and established on Feb. 1, 2012.
Readers should note that eligible lists change over their four-year life as candidates are added, removed, reinstated, or rescored. The list shown below is accurate as of the date of establishment but list standings can change as a result of appeals.
