The State Department of Transportation is accepting applications through Dec. 30 for Highway Maintenance Workers and Highway Maintenance Worker Trainees for temporary assignments in several counties. The annual pay range is $38,384 to $42,895. Depending on the location, some posts have additional pay adjustments.
Positions are available in Orange, Rockland, Westchester, Suffolk, Nassau and other counties.
