A new program will provide mental-health professionals loan repayment opportunities to help agencies statewide recruit and retain staff.
The Community Mental Health Loan Repayment Program, announced by Governor Kathy Hochul, will provide psychiatrists up to $120,000 in loan repayments, while psychiatric nurse practitioners will be provided up to $30,000 in relief.
