The state Department of Transportation is accepting applications through April for highway maintenance workers and trainees for permanent assignments.
Positions are available throughout the state, including in Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland and Westchester counties. Salaries vary according to location and positions. Some posts have additional pay adjustments.
