Recently the Queens Tribune honored Queens Library CEO and President Dennis Walcott as its 2016 Person of the Year. By all accounts, the indefatigable Walcott has brought a new tone to the scandal-plagued Queens Library.
John Hyslop, president of Local 1321 of DC 37, the union that represents the Queens Library workers, commended him for engaging the staff in a spirit of collaboration.
