The latest revelation, that President Trump seriously pushed to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller back in June 2017 using one or more of a trio of absurd reasons, has me wondering if anything can sour Mr. Trump’s supporters.
Just imagine the reaction of conservative voters to a Wall Street Journal report that Barack Obama’s personal lawyer funneled hush money to a porn star to keep their affair secret, or that the former President used Twitter to publicly berate and demean Attorney General Loretta Lynch for recusing herself from the Clinton email investigation after firing the man conducting that investigation.
