President Donald Trump has repeatedly said that the investigation into possible collusion with the Russians to interfere in our national election is just a witch hunt. Here again we see Trump’s difficulty with the English language.
If he used the word “which” instead of “witch,” he would have been correct. It really is a “which” hunt. Which ones in his team are complicit in the Russian conspiracy to help elect Donald Trump? Which high-level intelligence boss was not approached by Trump to try to stop the Trump-Russia connection? James Comey, Dan Coats, and Michael Rogers were all reportedly approached by Trump to clear his name from the charge of collusion with the Russian operation, and they all refused to accommodate and clear Trump.
