It’s not surprising that a born-rich, egomaniacal sociopath like President Donald Trump would pass a tax bill that does nothing for the poorest while helping the wealthiest. The poorest will still pay 10 percent of their income in Federal taxes. The richest get a reduction from 39.6 to 37 percent.
The biggest winners are corporations, whose tax falls from 39 to 21 percent. The theory is they will use this money to create jobs, as if corporations don’t already have enough money to do that.
