In an online article, Norman Seabrook, president of the Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association, stated he wants to invest his members’ hard-earned money, along with the department’s allocated taxpayers’ money, to provide enhanced tolerance training for all of the city’s Correction Officers.
My question is: is that what they should be investing in, or should they be investing in what is truly needed to make everyone who works, visits, and is detained there much safer than they are now?
