Three things in last week’s Chief concerned me. First, Thomas Cunningham tells me I’m not entitled to my own facts. But my facts are facts and his are not.
Whether they be heavy users or not, I’ve known of no one who had a hallucination from marijuana. Bob Marley and Merle Haggard were heavy marijuana users, and Willie Nelson still is. Marley never used hard drugs, and the only harder drugs Nelson and Haggard used were alcoholic beverages, and that preceded their marijuana use. Cunningham neglects to say how many hard-drug users started with alcohol.
