I am an angry retired New York City Correction Officer. The reason is I recently saw a video of a correction officer fighting an inmate by himself for a substantial time. Then I read the inmate was bailed out by some charity.
What exactly is going in this new Department of Correction? No re-arrest made on this individual for assaulting the officer. No outcry or action taken by his fellow officers.
