Growing up, my dad “enlisted” the labor of my two brothers and myself for his party-fishing business. All too often, we faced some herculean task such as painting the entire boat, top to bottom, or removing large diesel engines.
Whenever we children would complain that the job was impossible, my dad would reply with a question: “How do you eat an elephant?” We knew the answer, as he had provided it many times: “One bite at a time.”
