Letter: Workers Under Attack

An article two weeks ago by Dan Rosenblum dealt with the $2.5 billion owed by the state to the city’s public school system as a result of a state Court of Appeals ruling in favor of the Campaign For Fiscal Equity’s lawsuit. The Legislature and Governor Cuomo show no urgency to send this money to a school system with union-represented teachers.

But they were quick to enact legislation to force Mayor de Blasio to provide public-school space or money to find private space for charter schools.
