It is amazing how many lessons can be gleaned from the Southwest Flight 1380 tragedy that took the life of Jennifer Riordan.
The most obvious one is that the belief that women are too emotional and tend to panic under duress is blatantly false. Pilot Tammie Jo Shults put that tired argument to rest, once and for all.
