I have no argument with those who assert that assault weapons should be banned from private ownership. I also understand that without a gun, it’s much harder to commit mass murder and that the number of victims will be limited.
But much more went wrong that allowed Devin Kelley to kill 26 people and wound 20 others at the Southerland Springs Church in Texas.
