Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos should resign immediately. She has committed a gross offense against the Republicans’ 12th commandment: “Thou shall not criticize America abroad.”
It’s bad enough that she constantly runs down public schools, the foundation of democracy, at home. Did she really need to go to Switzerland to call America’s traditional public-education system an outdated relic (Washington Post, “Betsy DeVos goes to Switzerland and bashes U.S. public schools,” 6/7)?
