I am writing to clarify either a misquote or a typo in your Aug. 10, 2018 Razzle Dazzle column entitled, “Creative DC 37 Ideas Fire Up Old Suspicions.” I was quoted as stating the DC 37 “budget” was $50 million in the red. Technically speaking, this is incorrect.
When we spoke, I thought I had stated that the Council was approaching $50 million in “debt,” not referencing the “budget.”
