Your editorial in the June 22 issue dealing with the disciplinary penalty for Police Officer James Frascatore did him a disservice.
The nature of the incident was as follows: Police Officer Frascatore’s action in putting James Blake down was as described in the editorial. Immediately after Mr. Blake got up, and the officer realized that he was not the suspect, the officer apologized, they shook hands, and both went on their way.
