In the new book by Donna Brazile, who took over the Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair after Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced out, she reveals another way the primaries were rigged for Hillary Clinton against Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Clinton agreed to help pay off DNC debt in exchange for control of the DNC’s policies during the primary campaign. Like many other Clinton vows, this turned out to be a lie. After the Democratic convention, Brazile found out from the chief financial officer of the Clinton campaign, Gary Gensler, that the Democratic Party was broke and $2 million in debt.
