Adjuncts Are Played Cheap

The PSC is pressing for compensation to be doubled, from the current $3,500 for each course taught by a history instructor to the $7,000 that will be received starting this September by adjuncts at Barnard College. An upgrade that large isn’t realistic, given that the high tuition at Barnard helps to cover the higher salaries.
