In the aftermath of the criminal conviction of Governor Cuomo’s former top economic adviser for his role in a bid-rigging scheme involving three of the Governor’s leading campaign contributors, his lawyer reiterated his claim during the trial that his client had committed no crime.
“Alain Kaloyeros is innocent,” attorney Michael Miller said. “He did not rig bids. Not a penny was lost. Not a bribe was paid.”
