Did you know that August is National Make-a-Will Month?
NYCERS advises us to make sure we have 5 basic planning documents executed by the time we attain age 55. They are: 1. Health Care Proxy; 2. Living Will; 3. Power of Attorney; 4. Last Will and Testament/Living Trust; 5. Location of Key Documents, Accounts and Online Accounts. (In my opinion, these documents should be executed upon attainment of age 18 because at that age you are no longer a child but an adult). Check with your attorney.
