Tuberculosis Cases Rose 10% in City Last Year, Reversing 24-Year Drop

City health officials are reporting that in 2017 there was a 10-percent increase in the number of tuberculosis cases from the year before, the first spike in decades.

In 2017 there were 613 cases reported, compared to 556 the year before.
