Days after receiving the endorsement of the Working Families Party, City Council Member Jumaane Williams, who is running for the position of Lieutenant Governor, celebrated the backing of District Council 1707 as well.
Mr. Williams is challenging incumbent Kathy Hochul, who is running with Governor Cuomo for re-election.
