As the state Education Department begins to retool Teacher evaluations, the United Federation of Teachers last week sent it a series of policy recommendations to accommodate instructors’ experiences with the current system.
The SED has until June 30 to develop a framework “after consulting with experts and practitioners in the fields of education, economics and psychometrics,” according to the state budget that passed April 1.
