JetBlue flight attendants voted almost two to one in favor of joining the Transport Workers Union International, according to the National Mediation Board, which supervised the electronic balloting. The actual tally was 2,661 to 1,387.
It was a notable private-sector win for a union that, while best known for its representation of public mass-transit workers, has made gains in the airline industry.
