Sergeants Benevolent Association President Edward D. Mullins responded to a tweet by the Civilian Complaint Review Board urging people to complain if they felt their rights were violated with an angry message beginning, “You are all a disgrace.”
The civilian agency tweeted on May 4, with language referring to the new “Star Wars” movie, “#MayTheFourth Amendment protect you from unreasonable searches and seizures. And if you feel your rights have been violated by an NYPD officer, file a complaint here: on.nyc.gov/2FK7BLZ.”
