The head of the Transportation Security Administration’s security division was ousted last week after it was revealed that he’d quietly accepted $90,000 in bonuses.
Kelly Hoggan was caught by the agency’s Inspector General taking bonuses in $10,000 chunks in 2013 and 2014. The payments were small enough that they skirted an agency reporting requirement.
