Success Academy CEO Eva Moskowitz, who heads the city’s largest and most-controversial charter-school network, found herself under siege from critics and hecklers Jan. 22 while addressing reports about suspensions and detailing the “secret sauce” that boosts the school’s standardized test scores at the New York Law School’s CityLaw breakfast.
Fatima Geidi, whose son’s disciplinary and academic records were released to reporters in October after he spoke to PBS NewsHour about his frequent suspensions, asked the CEO whether she truly cared about students.
