Correction Capt. Utina Anthony-Barnes had just finished updating the log at a medical-observation area of the George Motchan Detention Center July 15 when inmate Brandon Jobson walked up and, without a word, punched her in the face.
The attack was captured by surveillance cameras. “He cold-cocked her and she loses consciousness,” Patrick Ferraiuolo, president of the Correction Captains Association, said in an interview last week.
