An out-of-state summons for trespassing has prompted the suspension of Probationary Firefighter Joseph Cassano, the trouble-prone son on of former Fire Commissioner Sal Cassano, the FDNY confirms.
The New York Post, which first reported the department discipline, said it was in response to his allegedly defecating on someone’s deck chair on the Jersey shore, which resulted in local police writing him a summons.
