Unions suing on behalf of their members who had personal information hacked in the massive 2015 cyber-attack on the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, had the cases thrown out last week because a Federal court ruled the union members had not suffered any real injury. The attack resulted in compromising the private personal data of more than 20 million people, including Federal employees, contractors, students and any other individuals who had applied for a Federal security clearance.
