Postal Workers Union Election Grows Heated

Longtime field organizer and former local President Mark Dimondstein is challenging incumbent Cliff Guffey for the American Postal Workers Union presidency this month, accusing his opponent of caving to management and facilitating a “race to the bottom.”

Mr. Guffey said he’s brought thousands of employees into career positions and portrayed the challenger as an ineffective leader with naïve ideas about how to save the Postal Service.
