As their union’s elections beginning March 28 loom, several postal workers at the Morgan and Church Street facilities said that incumbent officers of the New York Metro branch of the American Postal Workers Union were “rarely seen” around the work floor and that shop stewards discouraged workers from complaining about management, although some employees defended the current administration and said its experience would be crucial in fighting Postal Service cuts.
