Longtime Public Employees Federation chapter leader Usher Piller was questioned by state officials March 20 and suspended without pay pending charges, which are expected to claim that he used state resources in doing union business.
In a letter dated March 13, Wendy Phillips, Associate Counsel to the State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, which employs Mr. Piller, scheduled questioning “regarding allegations of your misconduct as well as allegations that you violated several of OTDA’s policies including the Time Card Processing Policy, the Electronic Mail Use Policy and the Proper Use of State Equipment Policy.”
